Elliot, Liz, and the whole family could not have been nicer! The facilities were amazing and we had such a wonderful time chatting with the hosts and playing with their beautiful pups! Thank you for everything! We can't wait to return!

Don't sleep on this place! It wasn't too far off the beaten path and we felt so at ease in the beautiful space! Breakfast was delicious!

Beautiful building set in a tranquil wooded location. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat I highly recommend here. The owners are friendly and look after you in a relaxed manner. The fire was roaring every night and the decor is amazing We will be back.

Amazing interior, absolutely stunning, best we've seen in Scotland and we visited 12! places. Rooms are small, but very comfortable. Breakfast freshly cooked and high quality. The owners are also amazing! They are very kind and are there when you need them.

Tips for other travellers

It's the gateway to the mountains. A perfect base if you want to explore the north, but also want to stay a little longer in one place. I would suggest driving through the land instead of the standard coastal road. Lots to see and little restaurant and places to discover. Driving to the north(west) and back is easily done in one day from this location (with stops on the way).
