Stamford Meadows Glamping

Our host couldn't have been more accommodating. She made a lot of effort to make our stay special from decorating the yurt, to baking biscuits for our boys, Amelia was a great host. The site itself is gorgeous, well equipped yurt and kitchen area, cosy log burner and big hot tub. We loved having the site to ourselves and gazing at the stars. Couldn't fault it.

A fantastic stay at this lovely little gem. Great facilities, great location and great hosts! The yurt itself was cosy, comfortable and spacious. Room enough for 4. Beds were super comfy with lovely fluffy duvets. We enjoyed plenty of time in the fabulous hot tub. This is wood fired so needed to warmed up a few hours before use but the hosts offered to do this for us when we went out for the day and it beautifully hot when we arrived back after a lovely walk through the countryside. The outdoor is super well equipped made cooking our dinner in pretty easy. It's also a lovely space to sit and enjoy the view of the campsite. The location was perfect, just a 10 minute walk to town and yet that real feeling of isolation. The hosts could not have been more accommodating and made us all so welcome. A lot of thought has gone into everything. Overall would highly recommend a stay here for real relaxing getaway.

110% recommend - we already have to our friends and family! We are looking forward to our next trip as it was just an incredible weekend. The area is amazing, with all facilities needed and extra. The attention to detail just made the area and weekend even more special.

We stayed for two nights in the yurt and bell tent in the orchard. A beautiful setting with everything you could wish for - comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, private hot tub, fire pit, private loo & shower room etc. Lots of birds during the day and bats at dusk. Amelia and Yogi are lovely, lovely hosts. Extremely welcoming but non-intrusive and happy to provide lots of options for places to visit and things to do. We’re selling the camping gear and taking up glamping after this experience!
