Such a friendly welcome to stunning steading conversion … felt like a special visitor to your lovely home. So informative on the grand tour and very helpful and interesting, with such passion for on-going project … well done! Breakfast in super surroundings was delicious and presentation, perfect. The rain did not dampen our spirits and thank you both for great hospitality.

A perfect base for exploring the area, with a special welcome on every return. Rural and rustic, although thoroughly modern, in idyllic surroundings. Great respect for original features and building, utterly charming.

We found David and Caroline so welcoming and took so much time in showing us around the beautiful room, facilities and grounds. They informed us of all the aspects of green energy and sustainability surrounding their property and life in general in Ceres .

Tips for other travellers

The village of Ceres is small and surrounded by by beautiful countryside. It is about 20 minutes from St Andrews and a number of other small towns. Craighall Steading is the perfect place for a relaxing break, wonderful breakfast and facilities.

First class accomodation, everything catered for including our dog. Caroline and Dave are so friendly and made us feel special. Will definitely be back just working out when.

Ideal location especially for people who like the countryside and walking, you can leave the car and walk to ceres.
