We especially loved your description of the Lomond View room as being “like living in a pastoral painting.” The ever-changing view across the countryside and the wildlife outside the window is something we never tire of either, so it’s wonderful to know you found it such a special and peaceful place to spend time. It was a pleasure to welcome you for your overnight visit, and we’re especially pleased that we could help accommodate your dietary requirements to ensure breakfast was enjoyable and stress-free for you. We really appreciate your kind comments about the room, cleanliness, and the care taken throughout the property. Creating a welcoming, comfortable, and relaxing experience for our guests is very important to us, so it’s wonderful to hear that reflected in your stay. Thank you also for taking the time to leave some helpful tips for future travellers — feedback like this is always appreciated. Regarding the warmth of the room, your stay coincided with the unusually high, record-breaking temperatures experienced across the UK in May. We do provide fans in all rooms during warmer periods, along with guest information on maintaining a comfortable room temperature. As the bedroom windows are fixed panes, the bathroom window and door can be opened fully to help with airflow and cooling overnight. We’re sorry if the sign was easy to miss. Alongside the roadside sign, we do provide detailed written directions on our website and booking information, together with pinned locations on both Apple Maps and Google Maps, which generally guide guests very accurately to the property. Thank you as well for the comment regarding coffee at breakfast. We use a fresh bean-to-cup coffee machine as we feel it provides a fresher, higher-quality coffee experience with each cup prepared individually to order. We’re always very happy to provide second cups or more. It was a pleasure hosting you all, and we hope to welcome you back to Craighall Steading again in the future.
