Liz and Charlie are very pleasent hosts. They are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is great and if you get the chance to have dinner we definitly recommend Liz's cooking skills :) Craigellie is a beautiful place that also focuses on environmental friendlyness. We will definitly stay at Craigellie again if we come back to Scotland.

Tips for other travellers
For google maps users: go via Alyth to Craigellie. The shorter direct route that google suggests is a very small hillroad with passing places. We can recommend the short walk to Alyth through the Den. Liz and Charlie gave us great tips for walking, cycling and daytrips (Stonehaven, Glen Turret destillery,...). You can also borrow maps.

Hosts Liz and Charles were very welcoming. We quickly felt at home, thanks to their friendliness, energy and passion for their trade and their personal touch. Bedroom and en-suite were splendid with attention to detail. Having a sitting room and access to a spacious garden really made a difference to our stay. We enjoyed the home-cooking, good choice of food, cooked with care.

No need to go far. Interesting places to discover close by. Local history (Alyth museum), beautiful walks (Den o' Alyth, Reekie Lin waterfall) and scenery (Kinpurney Hill), within half an hour's drive.
