Delightful, cosy apartment with everything available for selfcatering but only a fifteen minute walk to Lochinver if wishing to eat out. Lovely views from the decked area which is also very private.

Handy for drives north and south on the NC500 although the Drumbeg road is not for the nervous! Good walks at Clachtoll beach and Loch Assynt all ability trail. We also fitted in a drive to Blairmore to walk to Sandwood Bay which was remote and beautiful

I was very impressed with my stay (5 nights) at the Coach House. From the friendly but unobtrusive presence of the hosts, to the well kept nature of the main house and grounds to quality of the facilities throughout the apartment, I felt comfortable, warm and due to the mixed weather I experienced, cosy and protected from the great outdoors!

My whole stay was spent travelling around Assynt and its environs (I was here, as an amateur to photograph the landscape for a short holiday) and so I have no recommendations for restaurants, cafes etc. The landscape however is stunning, otherworldly - a breathtaking place to spend a few days. The hike across to Suilven (though not climbed) was my favourite walk, the views (from everywhere) are incredible! The beaches at Achmelvich (very beautiful) are easily the best of the bunch and the Wailing Widow waterfall was worth the short trip despite the on-road parking being below the normal standards of Scotlands amazing natural, outdoor facilities

A beautiful apartment in a lovely location. Very welcome info on local walks. We hit bad weather(!), but home from home comforts meant that a day of staying in passed very pleasantly. The jigsaws are a genius idea!

The Ceilidh Place in Ullapool has great food, and there's also an outdoor shop if you need to stock up on gear.
