A little gem...this was our second visit to The Knowle and we loved every minute from the gorgeous house with so much personality to the ambience, the hosting and the breakfast it is perfection!...we highly recommend this amazing B&B and very much look forward to returning.

Very well located in a beautiful and quiet position, just a short walk into the town, the seafront and many good places to eat and drink.

Tips for other travellers

Try the £6 Hastings day ticket (bus) ..very useful for exploring the local area and travelling between both towns especially if raining or too lazy to walk. Good places to eat include La Bella Vista, Pizzerelli both in St Leonards and Shiosai Sushi in Hastings (just before the town centre on the seafront) Try also the Shipwreck Museum, the Fisherman's Museum and Contemporary Hastings Art Gallery..for those with a sweet tooth try Rye Chocolates in Hastings Old Town

Another wonderful stay. Thank you Derval & Dave. The house is extremely comfortable and Derval’s breakfasts are delicious. We will definitely return.

Tips for other travellers

We had a family birthday at St Clements restaurant where six people ordered something different off the menu. Everyone was extremely satisfied as the food was delicious. The Crab shack at Dungeness serves the most delicious Lobster Rolls. It’s not always open so check before driving there. I believe the local pub serves a good meal but haven’t eaten there. Bess from Tranquillity Salon for massage. She comes to your room.
