We had everything we needed to be comfortable and warm. We rented a bell tent which was gorgeous. The toilets and showers were great and there was a shop where we could buy the bits we forgot. We chatted to donkeys and horses and walked alpacas. It was sooooo relaxing. We played ball games until the sun disappeared and relaxed around the fire until it was time for bed. Our teen particularly loved the hammock. Michelle the owner was funny, warm, welcoming and present. The site is beautiful and there’s lots to do and see nearby.

Tips for other travellers

We ate at piece of cake in coltishall and the rising sun and really enjoyed both meals. We played at the mill nearby and walked through the woods. Next time we plan to explore the area more and visit some of the nearby national trust treasures.

Lovely little camp site’s, with lovely hot showers, and clean facilities. Quiet enough to feel confident letting the kids roam.

Such an amazing g place, we only stayed for 1 night but would definitely visit again. Staff were great, the tents were great and it was amazing with al the animals nearby!
