We had a wonderful stay at The Old Forge. Even though the rain barely let up during our visit, it was the perfect place to return to after exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside. The rooms were spotlessly clean, warm, and incredibly comfortable, a real haven from the weather. Breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. Sophie, Alex, Iris, and Woody made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived, their warmth and hospitality truly made our stay extra special. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Stunning location and facilities to match. The quality of everything provided went above an beyond expectations. It is obvious that a great deal of thought has gone in to making the guests stay as enjoyable as possible. And hosts were very friendly. Will come back in the future for sure.

Very friendly and warm welcome by Sophie. The Wheelwrights Cottage was more than we expected for two people. Lovely and cosy, simple and everything one would like to have when all you would like to do is 'just chill'.
