I planned a longer stay but left early as there really is not much going on at this time of year (November). I enjoyed the walks I had and the site itself is great. I’d love if the hotel bar had more of the local beer on the bar or in cans/bottles and hope that’s the case for when I visit in the summer.

Beautiful site in a great location easily accessed from the ferry. Anna was really welcoming and helpful. She also kept me informed about the possibility of the ferry being cancelled due to high winds. Good facilities, it was particularly nice to have washing up equipment supplied plus clean tea towels replaced daily. Handy to have access to a microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge and electricity. The only possible improvement would be somewhere sheltered and warm to sit if camping in inclement weather but I was camping in November so this would not be an issue in warmer weather when the cafe’s, etc would be open.

Gem of a site. Lots of interest to see and enjoy on Gigha. Numerous small beaches, historic sites, wildlife, walks, gardens, stunning views everywhere. E-bike and paddleboard hire available opposite so a car is not required. Hotel, several cafes and shop are within 1/2 mile.
