Enjoyed another relaxing stay at No 2. Scenery was stunning with the snow-covered hills all around. The cottage was cosy and comfortable - the perfect place to switch off from the outside world.

We love coming here, this is our 4th year. It's such a well equipped beautiful cottage in wonderful surroundings, truly Awesome! Hosts are truly awesome, so attentive, easy to contact if needed, and the attention to detail is fantastic. We always feel so relaxed and refreshed, always so sad to leave. We've always had a wonderful holiday here, and will continue to come here as often as we can.

Tips for other travellers
We've enjoyed our previous haunts at Inverary and Achnecarry, as well as driving right round Loch Awe, which was fantastic. The Kilchrennan inn is good for a meal, we didn't have chance to try the newly reopened Taynuilt inn but will do next time, as locals have said how good it is. We didn't need to shop in Oban, as Graham's Grocers had everything we needed. The information in No:2 folder is very useful as it gives you an idea about where to go. As always, we visited Argyll Pottery, which is always good to see, the Racer Cafe next to the Pottery is good. The cable cars in the Nevis range were great, such a good view, and obviously the Ben Nevis Distillery, whisky!!

Beautiful, comfortable very well equipped cottage set in very peaceful gardens overlooking Loch Awe. Fiona and Andy's welcome was lovely! Wine, local chocolates and flowers! Such a nice touch. Lots of consideration put into making our holiday home special. Very comfy beds! If you are looking for a peaceful retreat, this is it!

Lots of walks from the doorstep. Nearest big town is Oban just a short drive away, where there is a Tesco and an M&S foodhall for supplies. Lots to see and do there. Anywhere north and south and you will be blown away by the scenery. Nearest restaurant/pub ( Kilcrennan Inn ) is 3 miles away. Lovely! We drove then enjoyed the walk to the Fairy Bridge. 500 year old bridge tucked away. Also visited Kilchoan Gardens on Loch Melfort. What a location! Sadly we were only at the cottage for 4 nights ....so much to see and do in the area. Not enough time. Would highly recommend!
