Ivydene cottage is just right, within easy reach of local amenities such as bus stops and has good views of Hoy. everything was very comfortable and we would certainly stay here again on our next trip to Orkney.

we bought Mega-rider bus tickets and were able to visit Scara Brea, Italian Chapel and Churchill barriers, Broch of Gurness, Ring of Brodgar, Standing Stones of Stenness, Maeshowe Cairn, Kirkwall Cathedral and much more. the St. Magnus cafe in Kirkwall is very good.

Lovely clean and tidy cottage, ideally situated for reaching every point on the island. Easy to follow directions to the cottage from the owner. Would definitely stay again

Close to Stromness but quiet enough so not to notice Local ferries are within easy reach and worth the cost to get to the other islands Chinese takeaway was always closed whenever we fancied one but is open so you should probably phone first to make sure

Fantastic week on orkney. The cottage was in a beautiful location, lovely and peaceful. The cottage was clean tidy and well equipped. We will certainly come again
