The cottage is stunning and the garden is amazing, there's been a lot of thought put into it all for families. One of our children is non verbal autistic and a big eloper, the cottage has window locks which put us massively at ease and is a great safety thought from the hosts.

Everything you need is provided within the cottage from all cooking facilities to plenty of fun things to do within the garden and living room for children, if like us your visiting four oaks for a bit of down time without wanting to travel about to eat etc my only suggestion would be to bring plenty of food for your stay with extra coal if you use the bbq or pizza oven. Hand wash, washing up liquid, washing machine tabs, dishwasher tabs, a little amount of tea, coffee and sugar were provided which we were really thankful for but if your a big tea or coffee drinker definitely bring extra, also bring extra toilet roll. The cottage also provides iron, ironing board and hairdryer- another great and helpful touch but dont forget to bring your own wash stuff (shower gels/shampoo) the bathroom is lovely with a great size bath and shower. There are no local shops so anything you need is a drive out so it is best if you have had enough of driving about to think of all these little things to bring along to make your stay as relaxing and stress free as possible. However there are plenty of places to see, visit and eat surrounding not too far away if you are willing to drive which the hosts do e-mail out all this information which is all super helpful. The cottage is located down a little dirt track behind a derelict looking building which our sat nav did not tell us and so we had to ask a lovely local lady who directed us, if you have a child that loves tractors like we do you will see plenty driving past the garden up and down the dirt track daily but overall it is a nice, quiet and spacious stay.

Lovely property, perfect for a family as lots for the children to do. Owners were great, responded to messages straight away and checked in via wattsapp. When toaster broke, a new one was delivered straight away.
