We camped in the back field next to the road, which was really busy from 7ish till midnight. The noise drove us insane from the cars. Expect to que in the morning for the toilets and showers. They have an issue for wood burning stoves. We got told not to use ours, because of the smoke, so we didn’t. Next door to us they had a bbq and sat drinking and talking till 1am, burning logs which was allowed because it was on a bbq. The staff were friendly and very polite. There was no bad feelings about the stove, even though we couldn’t cook now, unfortunately a £500 raised off the ground, with a fire blanket on the ground so no damage to the grass, fitted with a spark catcher, enclosed wood burning stove is classed as a dangerous fire. It’s a difficult one for the campsite owners and I respect their rules. It’s a great campsite for young children to play as the field is massive and safe.

Thank you for your review. Sorry the people next to you were noisy, we do have quiet time after 10.00pm. They should not have been burning wood on the BBQ as this would be then class as a fire (we do have notices up saying charcoal and gas BBQ only) If anyone is not happy with the pitch they have been allocated please let us know and we will do our best to fit in with your requirements.

Fraisthorpe Beach great walk into Bridlington of which vast majority of walk on beach dogs allowed. Fish & chips at Salt on The Harbour (we sat outside with dog). Would recommend, best fish & chips I’ve had in ages!
