Val was the most accomodating host we‘ve ever had on our travels. We were welcomed by her and cream tea and enjoyed our lovely conversations with her during the tea and during breakfast the next morning. She even allowed us to stay a little while longer than 12 which was absolutely necessary because of the rain! The house was very clean and tidy.

This is a place where the room cleanliness couldn’t be better. Beds are large and comfortable. The breakfast is a generous portion & cooked to order, not just reheated. The room has a fridge where you have real milk not pre packaged cartons to use for in room drinks, Wi-Fi, tv etc. It is a working countryside farm so in the winter be prepared for mud.

Tips for other travellers

I travel down by train, then there is a bus leaves from at the station to Holsworthy, just a few miles down the road. I find it a peaceful location, relaxing and a good place to de- stress. My daughter (aged 23) also loved the farm.
