This was our second stay and we enjoyed it as much at the first. The location is excellent with so many places for day trips either to the coast or countryside and York on the doorsteps. The cottage is very cosy and comfortable and very well equipped.

A very cosy warm and comfortable cottage. Very well equipped. Excellent base for touring around this part of Yorkshire. Couldn't fault the cottage and will be returning

Well equipped, about 1 mile from Stamford Bridge which has a Coop, pub, fish and chip shop, etc. Quiet - the cottage is situated off a lane with little traffic.

Tips for other travellers
The Gold Cup, Low Catton is where we often have a meal. The Three Cups in Stamford Bridge is much busier - it is on the main York - Bridlington Road. Grimston Bar P&R is conveniently situated just inside the York bypass for visits to York.
