Great location, lovely and clean. beds comfortable. thick black out curtains. unfaultable. can be as little noisy at night due to inconsiderate people, but Saint Georges even supply earplugs! Such lovely hosts too.

Tips for other travellers

Railway museum is free entry and so interesting and well maintained. York cathedral is stunning. The restaurants we used were the grill on the corner which was fabulous food and great service. Lots of great shops too, so leave room in your suitcase!

Great apartment. Clean, spacious, well equipped. Lovely welcome basket and tea, coffee, milk, butter and water in the fridge. Amazing location. WiFi. Spa bathtub!

Tips for other travellers

Everything is within walking distance but he sightseeing bus and local bus stops just outside. Super local tea rooms. The Duke of York pub does a lovely Sunday roast. Food was great in the haunted Golden Fleece.
