Really enjoyed our stay, it would have been good to meet the owners/staff on the arrival day and also to get information about running the oven and the heating units. We found the situation perfect for walking and parking was easy and convenient.

There are plenty of things to see in the locality and there is a lot of information in the cottage. There are pubs/restaurants around but they do need to be driven to, or walked along the canal (the nearest is about 2 miles) as the roads are narrow and can be dangerous especially after dark as there is no road lighting, and the cottage can be difficult to find in the dark. we went in September/October and the time of the pub openings can be a problem in that most don't serve food between 15.00 and 17.00.

Have stayed many times and always happy to return. Fantastic location to relax, walk etc with friends. Would recommend. We love the fact you can leave the car and walk into Brecon or Tal-y-Bont, have a meal and leisurely stroll back.

We ate at the Royal Oak Pencelli, the White Hart Talybont, the Gurka in Brecon.
