Everything you could ask for a family holiday, set in a peaceful, green location. The huge open plan living area was packed with thoughtful touches to enable a relaxing but well equipped break. The downstairs bedrooms were so peaceful and comfortable. Fir lodge is stunning. The hot tub is huge! We did not have time to use all of the facilities!

We travelled to wells next the sea, about an hour’s journey and a gorgeous day paddle boarding and picnics on the beach. BeWILDerwood was our choice for the hottest of our day trips, a family day in the woods, with cute activities for all. We visited Cromer to check out the crabs, a pretty beach and town. We stopped at Church Farm on arrival day, that is a must! Racing pigs and tractor rides. So much to do, an hour from the lodge where we were spoilt on return from each trip!

Very comfortable, warm and unique lodgings! All the facilities kept our extended family occupied for a long weekend - water sking, wake boarding, fishing, walking in the woods, snooker, sauna, steam-room and hot tub. This place has the lot!

The Parkside Community Bar & Grill serves wonderful food. Further afield, the Carpenters Arms is a restaurant available 7 days a week. Pre-book your water sports as a precaution. Bring walking boots for some excellent trails.

Fantastic, peaceful location and a beautiful lodge. Even though there were 10 adults in our party, our stay was very comfortable. There wasn’t anything more we could have wanted.

The on site pub is very friendly, reasonably priced and the food looked good too. Unfortunately you can’t walk around the lake but the woodland walks are beautiful enough.
