Simple and clean facilities. Perfect for out of season camping. Served us well for an overnight stop off on the way to Dorset.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bake Farm, The site was great and the showers and toilets were probably the best i've seen at any campsite i've been to (and i've been to a lot). I marked the facilities down due to the fact there are no bins on site at all and you are expected to take your rubbish with you. Fine f you are travelling in a car but not great if you're on a bike. We went out on Sat and took our rubbish away but on Sunday when we left the bikes were loaded up and we had no woy of taking any rubbish with us. It wouldn't take much to provide a bin at the entrance to the site..

So much to see and do, as motorcyclists the obvious choice for us was Salisbury Plain which is only a 20 min ride away. The Army Aviation museum in Middle Wallop is 30 mins away and the riding around the area is lovely..

Drovers Way is heavily rutted at the moment so a challenge to cycle into Salisbury as I discovered!

Only to say that adding solar to provide hot water (for washing up etc) would enhance the facilities greatly. Providing bins too but I know that’s expensive.

So much to see and do around Salisbury. As mentioned the fox and goose pub in Coombe Bisset. Several great pubs in the city itself. Sightseeing besides the cathedral, Stonehenge is Amesbury, a 40 min driving to the standing stones. Another is the ruin of the 12th century Clarendon Palace.
