Rowan Cottage

Nettes Cottage in sehr guter,ruhiger und auf der Insel zentraler Lage, Küste, Orte und Sehenswürdigkeiten in alle Richtungen gut erreichbar,

This was truly a home from home. The cottage was larger than I'd expected, very comfortable and warm, with everything you could ask for. The only reason I placed location as slightly lower, was due to lack of nearby entertainment/dining establishments. I will state that we didn't have a car, as we were staying near family who chauffeured us around, but the bus service was excellent so if you don't drive you are able to easily move around the island by public transport. The views are incredible and the location is quiet. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again if I go back to Orkney.

Lynn couldn't have been more helpful. Even during storm Babet, she called with us and left a box of essentials for use in the event of the power going off. Fortunately this didn't happen but we were very impressed. The cottage had everything we needed, it was cosy and warm, quiet and with wonderful views, just perfect for a week away.

Excellent host and a great place to stay. Thank you very much for having us. Nice an tidy. Beautiful views. A few breakfast items left for us which was very nice of the host. Would definitely come back.
