Tips for other travellers

If your doing Skara Brae consider the evening tours. A lot quieter and you get to go inside the houses. Best to book.

Wonderful Cottage, very clean and everything we required was in it and more. Location was perfect between stromness and Kirkwall. Owners were lovely, they gave us a shed to put our E-bikes in. Lovely setting looking into the Firth. Orkney is beautiful.

Tips for other travellers

We travelled all over Orkney and did all sites of interest. Favourite was crossing over the causeway to Brough of Birsay and seeing the puffins, beautiful! Another favourite was seeing the working mill at Birony mill at Birsay. We took a day trip to Hoy with bikes and then walked to old man of Hoy it was Stunning. We had carry out from Indian in Kirkwall and perfect. The shop in Finstown ( Baikies store) is well stocked and great for essentials. Love Orkney. So glad we came. ❤️
