Hotel is nice. Room is spacious and clean. Some of the furnitures could be upgraded. Breakfast spread was sufficient though would be good if you offer more option for kids.

Location – Yes, the location is great. The views are beautiful. There is a field beside the hotel and a public playground right in front. Very nice and relaxing. This is basically the only thing carrying the hotel. Cleanliness– The room was clean. No issues here. Facilities – completely unacceptable: The minibar was a joke. Old, ugly, and rusted inside. I repeat, rust inside the fridge. I did not feel safe putting any food in there at all. This is not “aged,” this is neglected. For a hotel like this, it is honestly embarrassing. You provide a water dispenser outside the room, but inside the room you only give cups and no bottled water. Lazy and disappointing. Breakfast – terrible and sad: Not only tasteless, but also pathetically limited. Only one real protein dish. The curry noodles were bland and empty. No fish balls, no tofu puffs, no shredded chicken. Just noodles and sad vegetables floating in water. The coffee was bad. The fruit was okay, but fruit alone does not save a breakfast. Parking: Parking is ample Staff – messy execution: At checkout, the receptionist said I did not pay the tax. I did. Luckily I kept the receipt. Then they returned my deposit in cash, and about an hour later they called asking me to send the money back because they “mistakenly” gave it to me. I asked for a bank transfer instead. Then they said since I paid by card, it should be credited back to my account. Small mistakes? Yes. But multiple mistakes mean sloppy processes. Saving grace from the staff: The bellboy was great. Helped with luggage immediately. The technician came very fast when the minibar could not be switched on. The ONLY reason I would come back: Solumis Spa. After check-in, I contacted Solumis Spa for a last-minute foot massage for me and my husband. Our legs were dead after a long drive and walking all day. There was only one masseuse, Dian, and we took turns, 30 minutes each. And wow. Dian is insanely good. Skilled, strong, precise. I would come back to this hotel just for Dian .

Tips for other travellers
Kampung Sedia is very near to the hotel (short drive away and absolutely worth visiting. It’s a small, cozy village area with lots of restaurant. Abang Strawberry, Opah Strawberry, KHM, Aidilbadri, Starzy, Ayam Panggang Madu Strawberry, Bahulu Strawberry, Tersorok Scones,Kopi Goh, Maiza Cafe, EG cakery, Warung Ikat Tepi, Sconey,Laman Strawberry. All of these places are way much better than the hotel breakfast.

Wonderful stay. For cleanliness is lower because there was a coachroach in the breakfast room next too our table, lying on it's waving it's legs in the air, and the walls around the lift have cobwebs on them There were stains on the fabric of the sofas and cushions. So it would be good to include cleaning those regularly.

The hiking trails are wonderful, the Tea plantsions to great scones with tea, as good as British scones we have in the UK.
