This is an outstanding B&B hosted by the friendly and accommodating owner. We had the William Armstrong room which is large and comfortable. The breakfast provided was plentiful and delicious. This was our second stay here and it won’t be the last. Highly recommended.

Very friendly and accommodating host. Good communication before my stay. Nice quiet location on the outskirts of Newcastleton. I'd looked at staying in nearby Langholm, but was really pleased that I booked Sorbietrees B&B. A great night's sleep and a lovely breakfast. All positive from my experience.

Tips for other travellers
The road over the hills from Newcastleton to Langholm is one of the nicest roads in the UK I've cycled. Amazing views and landscape. Mobile signal in Newcastleton town wasn't great. I'm with O2. My signal at the B&B was very good though. The Olive Tree cafe in Newcastleton is a nice spot for coffee / lunch.
