We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel was very clean and our room on the 2nd floor was comfortable with a wonderful view. The staff were welcoming and gave a great tip where to dine the evening we arrived. Would definitely return for a future stay.

Spend the little bit extra to stay on the 2nd floor, it's worth the view, especially at sunset.

Unfortunately the night we stayed on the second floor, the weather turned to 'damp'. That made it not as conducive to enjoy the location. The limited beach walk was wet, windy and cold. However, the lighthouse museum and its history was extremely educational and the view from the top fantastic. Staff were wonderful and the breakfast was excellent.

Very interesting to read the evolution of lighthouses. The beach walk would've been much more enjoyable when the weather is drier. We were advised that a great, little restaurant is about a 30 minute walk down the beach - we drove there. A short drive north gets one to a view of the cliffs.
