The communication from the hosts was excellent and made everything run smoothly. Lots of good information left in the information pack for guests. The villa was lovely and a beautiful location with views over the forest and sea. We really oved our time there and had a great holiday.

Tips for other travellers

We ate several times at the 'beach hut'. The food was excellent and good value. The walk into Looe was along some residential roads and beautiful coastal paths - well worth doing. We really enjoyed Seaton beach (about 4 miles East of Millendreath). The Coddy Shack (at the top of the lane) did excellent fish and chips, eat in or take away.

Immaculate lodge with everything you need, comfy beds, lovely shower, outside space, very well equipped. Steps up are fairly steep but this is highlighted in booking information. The access to load and unload took us a while to find. You need to drive through the carpark to find the bridge over. Cafe by beach was handy, great location for exploring looe, polperro, fowey and beyond. Beautifully quiet and lovely view of countryside to wake up to. Great communication and information given.

Tips for other travellers

We loved looe, fowey going across on ferry. We drove to St ives and St michael's mount and went tk national trust Lanhydrock house. Mevagissey was pretty. Fish & Chips restaurant and takeaway only 5 mins away by car. The cafe on beach front handy but breakfast very slow service and sadly not very friendly.

Such lovely, friendly people. Easy to get in touch with, amazing with advice and recommendations. Helped us loads due to family illness, would recommend to friends/family.
