What can be said about Gary & Julie and their perfect Guest House. Everything is spotlessly clean, with fresh towels daily and even home made muffins and fresh milk in the fridge. They always have a bright and cheery welcome and you are made to feel like friends rather than guests. I would not hesitate to recommend The Kilbrannan. It is the only place we stay when coming to Great Yarmouth.

Tips for other travellers

Our tips are to be aware that this dynamic duo serve a big breakfast so forget about lunch! They are very able to recommend restaurants and their in room book has a good list of them, we tried the Indian and the Portuguese restaurants both of which were superb.

Gary & Julie are so kind, friendly, polite, helpful and welcoming. The Kilbrannan is a beautiful guest house situated not too far from the sea front. The wide variety on the breakfast menu is most probably the biggest we have ever seen at a guest house. The food is locally sourced and tastes absolutely delicious. Gary showed us where to park and even carried our bags up to our room while we filled out the reservation form with Julie.. Julie showed us to our room and told us there was some milk and cake in the fridge. The cakes were homemade chocolate muffins and were so delicious. It was nice to have a mini fridge in the room if we needed it. Room 2 also has an en-suite and has a small lounge area separate to the bedroom area. We would most definitely recommend The Kilbrannan Guest House and can't wait to stay there again. Keep up the good work Gary & Julie
