Tips for other travellers

The trail to Lion’s head look out is a challenging trail. Be prepared for a 3 hour commitment to walk up and back. The trail is through the bush and very rocky, partly on the Bruce trail, so you only see the lake at the end of a long hike. The view is beautiful once you get there.

Fantastic stay. Mary Ann and Ken are the perfect hosts. They are helpful, accommodating and welcoming, making it feel like your own home. Breakfasts were lovely and the rooms were spacious and comfortable.

Excellent home with wonderful facilities. Ken and Mary Ann were excellent host. In addition to the outstanding service, Ken gave me shuttle rides each morning for my hikes. Thank you for everything!
