Very friendly and helpful really welcoming and couldn't do enough to help i would recommend Marc & Julie's Breakfast it's really one to go and try brilliant choice couldn't fault the merritt for anything you really do turn up as a guest & leave as friends.

We just Love ❣️ Merit House and the fantastic proprietor's Mark & Julie ❣️ the golden sands of Paignton are just a 2 minute walk away and all other local attractions, shops and excellent travel links are also close to hand 👍 We therefore strongly recommend that you stay at Merit House when visiting Torbay 👍 Well done Mark & Julie for making our 20th stay with you a relaxed pleasurable experience ❣️ We shall see you soon, Dean & Yvonne, from Wollaston Stourbridge, West Midlands ❣️

Absolutely delightful Guest house, fantastic breakfast, presentation of Pancakes needs to have an award. Julie as the Chef and Marc as the Head Waiter, both wonderful hosts. Nothing was to much trouble for them. Wish you both a wonderful Day.

Couldn’t fault anything, had an excellent stay , would definitely recommend staying there and the breakfast was excellent.
