Marc and Julie great hosts. Very informative about surrounding area and Julie cooks a cracking breakfast.

Tips for other travellers

Central for everything. Beach just around corner. Steam train, train and bus station 5 minute walk away. Can catch bus to most places around torbay. From Plymouth right upto Dawlish.

I would highly recommend this guesthouse. It was spotless, comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding. Mark and Julie are the most welcoming and friendly hosts. They're really knowledgeable about the local area. We will definitely be going again.

We love Merritt House! and the wonderful proprietors Marc and Julie! 🤩 Marc and Julie really do go the extra mile to make your stay a plesent relaxing experience.
