The Old Bakehouse

Stayed in the cottage. Fantastically well equipped… everything and more you could want or need included. Definitely NOT your average self-catered accommodation. Well done to Steve and Fiona, once again we had a brilliant break away. Five star for sure!

Lovely people running The Bakehouse. High standards but also relaxed and sensible.( We once stayed at B+Nowhere we had to leave our shoes outside in a porch and it was Summer I had bare feet and sandals and the owners issued me with socks before I could enter!!) Non of that at The Bakehouse. Lovely and relaxed, clean, welcoming and delicious breakfast.Highly recommend.

Lovely place to stay with a warm welcome. Bedroom spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. Great breakfast.

Everything about our stay was ten out of ten. We were only there for one night and wish it had been more, but we will certainly return. Fiona and Steve are a delight . So friendly and they couldn’t do enough for us. We had a lovely en-suite comfortable room with views of the village. Our breakfasts had everything anybody could have wanted to a standard a five star hotel might have had trouble matching. The property is old, characterful and beautifully decorated.
