Perfect retreat, could not have got off to a better start, Javad met us in the car park and advised on the best place to park as my vehicle is bigger than a normal car. Held doors open, took our bags and explained the process of door locks, room and when breakfast would be served. Room was fabulous, well decorated , clean, spacious and very comfortable.

Tips for other travellers
No need to be apprehensive, Javad and Judith are superb hosts. Great conversation and the breakfast, well buckled in because Javad does the cooking and Judith makes the bread and the complimentary granola bars in the room. Personally I could not praise both enough, wish more people were like these two!

Charming hosts, good facilities, excellent breakfast. We would have liked some instructions for the heating system and longer duvets/blankets so that they didn't come adrift in the night resulting in cold feet!

10 stars This is our fifth visit and we are never disappointed. Javed and Judith are wonderful hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. Judith makes her own bread and cereal, which is delicious. Gronala bars are left in the room.

A leisurely 10 minute walk to town and to Jempsons, their well stocked supermarket. Rye is a beautiful and historic town.
