Wold Escapes were easy to make arrangements with and got back to my queries really quickly. The beds are comfy, kitchen is fully equipped and labelled, property is so spacious and well planned out layout which means that you can hang out and socialise in the gamesroom or kitchen to the late hours without disturbing those wishing for an early night. So many activities on site that we didn't use any of ours!

Tips for other travellers

Cafe Nora is an amazing little find in town that provides quality breakfasts and can accommodate large parties of 18 people if contacted a day ahead of the visit. Be sure to check that your booking is with the Driffield branch as ours was made with the sister branch in error, but we still got accommodated all the same. Would also recommend taking bedding for a cot if ordered from Wold Escapes.

Agi is a star. I had problems getting in and broke the door handle in attempting to unlock the door. She responded in minutes, provided me with alternative access arrangements and sorted the problem the following day. Oh, and the early breakfasts are excellent - just what's needed!

Tips for other travellers

Perfect base for a short birdwatching tour of the E Yorks coast and inland reserves. Stuart's chip shop in Driffield is excellent and Zarin's Indian Restaurant is really good, and certainly different (but no alcohol).
