We had a great stay at Wayfarer House . The property is conveniently close to the centre of Wells , but also in a private , peaceful location with a secluded garden . Wayfarer house is spacious and beautifully decorated . We were a group of 7 with ages from 3 to 90 , the house was perfect for our group with plenty of space inside and outside .

Tips for other travellers

Would definitely recommend Wells Bike Hire . They delivered and collected rental bikes to Wayfarer House with no extra charge . A great way to see the countryside . Would also Recommend the Three Horseshoes at Warham . Just completed a refurbishment (July 2026) it's a perfect country pub with cosy bars inside and a lovely garden outside . Also recommend the local buses Coasthopper and Coastliner 36 . Both reliable and cheap , a great way to see the coastal villages .

Tips for other travellers

A couple of things not in your book. The Bowling Green is a very welcoming pub with good beers and pub grub classics. Recently opened Flour has very good pizzas.
