We would definitely recommend a stay in this beautiful home and location. We had a totally relaxing time and we wished our stay was longer! Everything we could possibly need for our stay was catered for and very well thought out! We were very fortunate with the weather too. The view from the sitting room is stunning. We will definitely be back for another visit. Thank you to Alison and Ewan.

We know the area very well as been coming to the area since around 1995 although my hubby since the 70’s! My youngest son got married in Arisaig in July. We love Camusdarach beach but there is plenty beautiful walks and close to walk down to Arisaig where there is several places to eat. We always enjoy a meal from the Thai Sunset in Morar food is delicious but really need to pre order.

The garden needs some tidying up. Weeds all.along the path, grass long . Weeds around the garage. Inside had everything that you required just a little basic looking.

We're sorry to hear that about the garden. We do have a wild garden in front of the garage and tend to keep trimming bushes, etc around that area to a minimum in order to encourage bees, butterflies and birds and do a little towards helping biodiversity. We'll take a look at the upkeep of the path and grass, which is usually mown every two weeks. Thank you for your feedback.

We loved it. The house is comfortable and brilliantly situated. Wonderful views with amazing sunsets and so very peaceful. There is so much to do and see on the doorstep. The kitchen has everything you need - truly home from home.

We did eat out a few times. The Crofters Rest in Arisaig did good food, but we were too tired to stay for the music - another time! We took on board the recommendations from the Visitors guide and ate at The Tea Garden in Mallaig, The Old Forge at Inverie and The Morar Hotel. All the food was good and the service friendly. Cow bay was our go-to beach for paddle boarding. Great for getting our practice and confidence up. Traigh and Camusdarach do get so very busy for parking, but we found going for an early low tide walk along Camusdarach (8.30) that we were almost the only people on those beaches. Very special, especially in the brilliant weather that we were lucky to have.
