Fantastic stay with you, thank you. Dont think we’ve stayed in such a lovely or so well equipped property as The Old Workshop before. Everything we needed you’d already thought of. The touches of attention to detail did not go unmissed, thank you. Touches like the quality of the sheets and hand soaps etc. also making sure we had enough toilet rolls for the week and not needing to go out shopping for them 😂. We loved Corbridge too. We hope to be back next year for another visit. Best wishes Clare and Richard.

What a treat to stay at The Old Workshop. High spec property where the owners really have thought of everything. Already looking forward to our next visit. Walking distance to the centre of Corbridge. Great location to explore the amazing Roman history in the area.

The Old Workshop was the perfect base for us. Situated in a beautiful setting; but only a short walk into Corbridge with all its amenities. The cottage is decorated to a very high standard and the furnishings are luxurious. We visited Bamburgh Castle, Embleton, Seahouses, Hexham and completed a circular walk from Corbridge along the river and back to The Pelle historic pub in Corbridge for a cold beverage and also a circular from Housesteads, Hadrian’s wall which took us past the Sycamore Gap. We loved our stay and have already booked to go back next year.

We had a wonderful stay. The Old Workshop has everything you need for a relaxing stay. It’s beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches. We really appreciated the wonderful welcome pack - cheese, jam, chutney, milk, home produced eggs, oatcakes, grapes and cakes - wow! We will definitely return as it’s such a great base for exploring the North East

Make sure you explore the sights in the area - Tynemouth is lovely and close to NT Seaton Delaval hall which is really worthwhile visiting.
