The most blissful setting on Kentra Bay. Secluded and quiet with just the sounds of the birds in the background. Sean is a great host, he,s available if you need him but just let's you get on with your holiday in peace.

Ardtoe beaches, on a hot day could give the carribean a run for their money. Singing sands, smirisary, silver walk at dorlin. the whole landscape is unspoilt and beautiful and a joy to be in it.

Lovely and very comfortable (and surprisngly spacious!) caravan with incredible views and wonderful access to wildlife of various kinds, really convenient for eastern Ardnamurchan (and pretty good for western Ardnamurchan, Moidart, etc.)! Sean is friendly and helpful and efficient, and full of good advice for how to eg attract badgers and pine martens to the garden! It was all just super. :-)

Do make sure to bring insect repellent and anti-histamine cream if coming during midge season! (June-Aug). Even more importantly though: bring binoculars for all the *other* wildlife, which is glorious. :D The weather can vary tremendously, so bring both your swimwear and your waterproofs and warmth layers. :D In a short-ish driving distance from the croft we highly recommend Castle Tioram, Ardtoe Beach, and the Garbh Eilean wildlife hide in the Salen oakwoods (especially if you like seals!). The village shop in Acharacle is great for most needs, and the Salen Jetty shop and mini-cafe super for excellent coffee and some more deli-type food. Further away, the lighthouse and the Stables cafe at Ardnamurchan point are well worth the drive, as are the beaches of Portuairk, Sanna, Achateny, Bay MacNeil etc.! As someone with mobility difficulties who even on my best day can't walk more than half a mile or so: it's marvellous how much there is to do under those circumstances in the peninsula. :-)

Enjoyed our stay as usual and fantastic weather the whole time . But would have liked some curtains at front of caravan as it got very hot with the weather at the time.
