The whole experience was wonderful. The cottage was in immaculate condition & we received a very warm welcome from Margaret. Thank you! The welcome gifts were also very welcome.

So many sites to visit. In addition to the main neolithic do also visit Stromness Museum and also the Italian Chapel.

Do not visit only the 'must have seen' spots. The sea is great, just look for tide and wind!

Cosy, comfortable and spacious accommodation with ever-changing, spectacular views from the lodge. Always a warm welcome from Margaret and family. Recommend a stay in the lodges wholeheartedly.

Centrally placed for trips to Kirkwall and Stromness and all round the mainland, and just up the road from Houton to catch the ferry to visit Hoy. Plenty to do and see in Orkney - recommend the Birsay tearoom, booking is advisable though. Walk across to the Brough of Birsay when the tides are right.
