One of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed during our travels. The Rectory Lacock is a truly special place, full of history, charm and wonderful English countryside atmosphere. The house is beautiful, the accommodation was very comfortable and we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. Staying here made our visit to Lacock even more memorable. Thank you for a wonderful experience – we would love to return one day!

If you are visiting Lacock or the surrounding countryside, we highly recommend staying at The Rectory. Take your time to enjoy not only the beautiful village, but also the peaceful atmosphere of this historic house and its surroundings. It is much more than just a place to sleep – it is part of the experience.

Very professional, the welcome we received on arrival was second to none. The breakfast was superb, and we loved the time you took for the chat over breakfast about filming in the Village etc.

What a find! This place was listed, amongst other venues, on an email from Work about a Work event we were attending in the area. We are so glad we chose this place. We weren’t really aware of the area/local history until we attended the Work event. The area is outstanding, and you can see why thousands flock there for the natural beauty, as well as the filming history. A visit to the Abbey is a must! Will definitely be visiting the area again in the future.

We stayed for two nights at The Rectory following a recommendation from a friend. The lovely period property in spectacular grounds did not disappoint. Helen and Wyatt were very welcoming and informative of the local area. The Rectory is only a very short walk to the National Trust attractions, pubs and restaurants. The breakfast selection was ideal and was cooked lovely just the way we liked it. We stayed in the Pine Room which was spotlessly clean, well maintained and provided everything required for a very comfortable stay. The secure car parking was a welcome addition making for a relaxed stay. We had a great stay and will be staying again when in the area.

We recommend The George Inn, for traditional pub food and a good pint. We found the staff friendly and helpful. The National Trust car park is great if you arrive early.
