We were made to feel very welcome and comfortable on our very first visit to Skye from Australia. Thank you to our hosts Dorothy and John.

We enjoyed two very good dinner meals at both Harbour Restaurant in Broadford and at the Gabbro Bar , Broadford Hotel. Excellent location for our stay in Skye and was easy to go visiting local sights around the island by car.

I had a wonderful stay at this accommodation. The room was extremely clean, and both the bathroom and shower were spotless with no stains at all. The bed and room were also very tidy and comfortable. The living room and dining area were spacious, and the staff were all very polite and friendly. The breakfast was delicious, and I really liked that you could choose your preferences from a menu. Highly recommended!

Perfect for those travelling by car. There’s a safe and convenient parking area, and the location is very close to the A87 road but still extremely quiet. The house is beautifully set between the mountains and the sea.

Dorothy and John Macleod, the hosts, are about as good as you can get! They are warm hearted, helpful, down to earth and most of all welcoming! The accommodations, atmosphere and breakfast are great! (Especially the fresh fruit cups!) You feel like you are staying with family - the ones you get along with! HA!

Dorothy and John have a great book of places to eat and things to do. Two recommendations they made for restaurants, Red Skye and The Claymore, were both wonderful. The Fairy Pools and the Old Man of Storr are both great hikes and worth the effort.
