Amy provides a very personable service. There has always been direct contact throughout and an early exchange of clear details. Amy genuinely seems to care about her guests feeling comfortable and having the best holiday possible. The cottage is the most inviting and comfortable that we have stayed in. The interior is lovely and it has everything you could need. The views from both main bedrooms look over to the water and the sunsets are so amazing you don't want to close the curtains.

This is our third year which says a lot. It never disappoints instead it keeps getting better. Get up early and go for a swim. It is a quiet place anyhow but magical when you have the water to yourself or with a couple of locals. After a swim get a coffee and cake from the cafe. The food & ice-cream is delicious with really friendly staff. Walk up the track to the Gwennap coastwatch and then down to the left where there are amazing rock formations and endless birds including Choughs. Beautiful in the evening. Walk to the right of the coastwatch and scramble down to a rocky bay where there is a colony of seals who like to watch you. Walk along the coast path towards Lands End, take binoculars. Words can't describe how spectacular it is. We don't travel far from the cottage, it's too beautiful to leave. Without a doubt this will always be one of the most special places for our family. We are always sad to leave. This is the most gorgeous locations away from the crowds. There are not many shops to buy food and so we stock up at Penzance. There is a village shop and farm shop at St Buryan which are great for bits, bobs & treats. Access to the cottage is along single track so expect to pull into quite tight passing places but it is well worth the patience. Can not recommend enough.

This was our second visit. We fell in love with this place last year and even more this year. It's magically, it is beautiful in every direction. We don't venture far in the car, we don't need to when there is so much to see and explore. The cottage is stunning, tastefully decorated, comfortable and has everything you could possibly need. It feels like home with spectacular views.

We spent a lot of time at the beach which is a short walk down a quiet road. Mornings and evenings are wonderful but even in the daytime it isn't too busy. Seals are there daily, the water is clear and great for swimming and canoeing. There is a lovely cafe with delicious ice-cream. A short walk above the cottage is an abundance of views and wildlife. We sat most evenings watching Choughs, Hen Harriers, Buzzards and sunsets without seeing another person. The coastal walks are superb in both directions. We left with a heavy heart but feeling calm, refreshed and very fortunate to see such a wonderful place.

A beautiful cottage! The location is perfect for walking along the coastal path. The decor is well thought out and in keeping with the charm of the cottage. A very comfy bed and lovely linen sheets. The reception on the TV isn’t great but there are lots of DVDs to watch in the evening.
