I spent a lovely, peaceful night at Dana & Marc's BnB. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom right across the hall was spotless clean. Dana was a great host, spinning up the hot tub for use at night. Breakfast was great too!

Tips for other travellers

I was cycling around the island which was great. But be warned that it's VERY hilly with some steep climbs. Highly recommended is a ride down to Horton Bay and to do the loop walk through St. John Point Regional Park.

Highly recommend staying at this lovely BandB with great hosts, great beds and wonderful setting. Marc and Dana went out of their way to be of assistance- giving us excellent tips about what to do and where to go while on Mayne Island. The Grove is the perfect base to explore the Mayne Island Island.

Dear Dana and Marc We really enjoyed our stay at "The Grove". It's quiet and cosy, and the beach is just a short walk away. You can watch the birds in the garden. The history of your house is fascinating. Being able to rent electric bikes was great for us. That way, after an excellent breakfast, we were able to explore the hole island. I had a perfect stay at The Grove! Marc and Dana were both very warm and hospitable, and the breakfast was fantastic. Everything was extremely clean and organized, and anything I needed was available. Using the hot tub under the stars was incredible! Highly recommended to stay at The Grove!
