Lovely quirky venue on the sea front. Rooms have been improved since our visit last year.Good black out curtains, comfy beds, linen and towels. Snuggly bed throws. New bathrooms. Nice inclusion of coffee machines and fridges in some rooms. As it's an old building, there can be challenges with plumbing at peak times especially if in one of the top floor rooms. Food good and reasonably priced. Good breakfast selection, although missed the pots of tea. We ate there in the evening too on first night. Dining area nice and light and bright looking out to sea front. Separate side entrance for guests works well too to save having to go through pub. 1st floor rooms hear minimal pub noise, but not enough to prevent sleep. Cleaner starts early in the morning.

only minor concern, room was very warm, heating appeared to be on 24/7 when not needed. had to have window wide open for duration of stay which increased noise level.

Good location and friendly staff. Room was clean and adequate although a little small. Good breakfast. Only negatives would be mattress very hard and would struggle to park during busier months.
