Great welcoming hosts who treated us very well. Room was spacious and well appointed. Breakfasts were first class.

Fantastic guest house. Rooms really clean, breakfasts excellent. Great location 1 minute walk to main Street. Dog friendly. This is our second visit and will definitely not be our last. A true home from home. Stephen and Stephanie couldn't do more for you. They made our weekend special and a memory we both will never forget.

Tips for other travellers

Auld Smiddy Inn great value for money and good food. Lovely walks in area especially to black spout waterfall and you can lunch at Moulin Hotel on way back.

Wonderful stay both Steve and Sephanie are fantastic hosts cannot do enough for you. Accommodation spotless and extremely comfortable. Great breakfast.

Fantastic facility, great hosts , very personalised attention to their guests, friendly and such a welcoming atmosphere. Excellent food and breakfast menu and all catered for.
