The staff were very friendly and the hotel was clean and presentable inside. It was very quiet at night and I slept well. Unfortunately the appearance of the hotel from the road outside was very bad. There was an odour in the room and the shower had an inconsistent temperature. I also would have appreciated a chair in the room. However overall I think it was good value for the price and I would recommend for someone looking for an affordable place to stay.

The bus into Queen Square is very regular and cheap, every 4-5 minutes, and makes it easy to get into the city centre.

Nice friendly, helpful staff, it’s basic but it’s also very reasonably priced, so for the price it is probably better than a lot. It’s in a great location for walking to Anfield for the football, and only a 20-25 minute walk from lime street station but there are public transport options, if you prefer that. There is also a petrol station, Spar, Sainsbury’s and numerous food places nearby and also a gym if you fancy a workout just up the street.

Gym and numerous food places ( dominoes, McDonalds, kfc, Tim Horton, Chinese, subway and more) and a Sainsbury’s five minutes on your right. Petrol station and spar two minutes on your left. Also if going to city centre or anfield, it is pretty much a straight road for majority of both journeys, obviously in different directions.
