Our third stay at the castle tavern. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Staff always very helpful. Excellent location. Wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Staff and location was incredible. Room was clean and well stocked. Only reason we marked it down was the bed. It was way too soft for me and my partner. We hardly slept all night and it's agrivated a underlying back issue of mine.

We only stayed for one night, the room was very spacious and clean. The bed was comfy. Good view over marketplace. Very good communication from owners. However, the bar was very busy when we checked in and only one member of staff on so didnt feel particularly welcomed. We didnt realise we couldn't get an evening meal. Luckily other pubs did. We found a great place for breakfast the next day.
