We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The breakfast was excellent, especially the salmon with eggs – a great way to start the day. A big plus was the private parking area. As a motorcyclist, I really appreciated being able to secure my motorcycle to a sturdy steel ring, which gave me extra peace of mind. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was spotless. Everything smelled fresh and pleasant, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. On top of that, the hotel is located very close to the city center, making it easy to explore the area. Highly recommended – we would definitely stay here again!

We felt so welcomed and comfortable here. The location was great- an easy walk to restaurants and shops- and fun to be in a neighborhood, seeing kids going to school and others off to work. We appreciated the dedicated parking spot. The place couldn't be cozier, with all sorts of whimsical Scottish decor. Susan was so friendly. The breakfast was one of the best on our whole trip- plentiful and with plenty of choices. My husband can't stop talking about those spiced peaches! (Thank you for the recipe, Susan.). We were very pleased and would definitely book here again when we return.

Tips for other travellers
We ended up driving out to Elgin and loved exploring the ruins of the cathedral, the Biblical garden and the various shops and such nearby. We also visited Nairn, a lovely coastal town, to look for Moray Dolphins. (Tide was out when we got there.). The drive was beautiful. In town, we ended up getting pizza at a Cheese and Tomato place on the way down to town. it was so delicious. The walk along the river to the islands was beautiful. We even ended up seeing heron and other birds. Watched some students preparing for a bagpipes show which was fun. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We appreciated all the suggestions on the website of things to do in the area. Thank you for such a delightful time.

Susan is really so nice and friendly. And the breakfast is perfect. The only thing, the rooms are really small, we are there during a three week journey and we could not open our two suitcases.

Little stays have delighted me as much as this one. The owner, Susan, was really attentive and charismatic. The room had a beautiful view to the church, and it had some homemade sweets that they have left for us. The breakfast was something else, filled with traditional flavours and homemade jam, the best way to start your day! Would 100% recommend and come back.
