From all of our research and discussions, we've conceded that it's rather difficult to predict the weather, what time of year to visit. We arrived Mon 4/7/25 to wind/rain during our boat ride, enjoyed incredible weather Tues/Wed, so so weather Thurs and departed Fri 4/7. Vince and his service staff are OUTSTANDING, esp Judith, Tom and Eduardo! Facilities and grounds (~15 to 20 years old is my understanding) are well kept and clean. The rooms are beginning to show their age, but we have no complaints. Great food and fantastic drinks that are made on-demand. ENJOY!!!

Tips for other travellers

Vince's advice to stay overnite in Panama City (or Bocas del Toro) ended up being advantageous for us since it forced us to take some time to explore Panama City, which we very much enjoyed! Don't forget to apply sun block, esp to those areas of your body that don't typically enjoy sunshine!! Bring insect repellent and USE IT anytime you are anywhere near the beach, including when lounging on your patio. Or roll the dice and maybe your body won't react to the sand fly bites the way mine did. My wife had only a minor reaction.

Rosie isn’t very good Host. Food is very good. The grounds are gorgeous. The catamaran on the beach was an eyesore & noise from repairing it was annoying at times. Ocean was murky.
