I was meant to be staying in sept but after a sudden knee injury dave and the team was very understanding and at short notice changed the date to December to give me the chance to recover at no extra charge and we was both very grateful for his help ,and that is one of the many reasons I will continue to stay at the shelbourne apt not only is it a great place to stay with everting inside you could possibly need for a short weekend break or a full week you are made to feel like family.

Weatherspoons is very close and as always very welcoming and prices are great but also lots of cafes and restaurants close by and in the town centre

We stayed in apartment 2. Our aim is to try every apartment but they are all excellent and when you stay it feels very much like a home from home. Very spacious with at least 2 bathrooms. Dave is very good and prompt when you arrive he will quickly answer you and direct you to the right apartment if he is not around. The best stay in Southport! Only 5 more apartments left to try I think...

Great location. Southport has a very long beach and lots of sand dunes, great for walks. Nice parks too. Close to Berkdale where there is a great cheese shop and Belgian Beer bar. The apartments are near to all places to eat out. Weatherspoons is just down the road. There is a lovely little Italian restaurant called Gusto, I think, just opposite Weatherspoons. Previously Southport market has been an excellent place to eat out where you choose what you want to eat from the various stalls around the inside of the market with the bar being in the centre, normally a great atmosphere but we visited on a Thursday this time and it was very quiet they stopped serving food at 8pm. Recommend a visit at the weekend when it might be livelier.
