This is the fourth time we have stayed at The Shelbourne and will be booking for next year and would unconditionally recommend it for a stay in Southport. It is well located at the southern end of Lord Street and all facilities are within level walking distance. The apartments are exceptionally well equipped and comfortable.Spacious and excellently maintained to ensure a thoroughly relaxing stay. You will receive a warm welcome from hosts Mel and Dave who go the extra mile to ensure you enjoy your stay.

The Kalash Divine Indian Restaurant, just over the road is particularly worth a visit.

Extremely helpful & nothing is too much trouble. Always a warm welcome & good explanation about how things work in the apartment. The apartments are well appointed & extremely clean and comfortable. Great place to relax. Parking in apartment grounds.

The Atkinson in Lord Street has a theatre, museum, cafe & information about what’s on. Just a stroll from apartments. Lord Street has some very interesting independent shops, lots of cafes and eateries. If wet there is a cinema & bowling alley not far away. Lovely park & miniature railway close by. Knowsley Safari Park a drive away. Also National Trust places to visit. Liverpool a bus ride or train ride away.Also seaside amusements a short walk away.
