Alison was a wonderful host and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were excellent and the dining room was homely and comfortable and afforded excellent views over the garden wildlife (many types of birds feeding) and countryside. The room was immaculate, comfortable and well stocked up every day with drinks, tea/coffee biscuits etc. and very private.

Alison gave us some great tips for where to eat and visit. She couldn't have been more helpful. We had a very enjoyable 4 night stay and will certainly be back again. I recommend Brambles B&B without reservation.

Redwood pub half a mile down the lane is a nice old fashioned pub with good food. I recommend the cauliflower cheese.
