Excellent communication from the very first call to arrival, lovely welcoming hosts, every thing you could ask for was catered for, great selection of teas at reception to help yourself, milk to take to your room if needed any time, lovely warm room, not the usual catering toiletries, breakfast was excellent! Good range of cereals, yoghurts and fruit. The cooked breakfast, which we pre ordered the night before, was first class, Lisa and Colin had to present 8 at the same time, which was done perfectly, presented to the correct person, hot, and all 100% correct. Colin asked us all if we needed anything, plates were taken with no rush or intrusion. It was perfect, quite possibly the best breakfast we’ve had in any of the bed and breakfasts we’ve stayed at. We will definitely be staying at Inglestone House if we are in Kelso in the future. Thank you Colin and Lisa for a lovely homely welcoming stay x

Tips for other travellers

The parking is easy, street and a car park close by, a wee pub is a 2 minute walk away and the centre of Kelso is also 2 minute walk, with various cafes, charity, antique and the usual shops within walking distance.
