Pencubitt House

We stayed at Pencubitt House for five days and can honestly say it’s one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in for a very long time. The hosts were absolutely wonderful and made us feel incredibly welcome. We stayed in Room 7, which was large and spacious with an extra-large double bed, a large bathroom with a shower, and terrific views. Everything was first class. One of the real highlights is the food. You can eat in the dining room, and the meals are genuinely superb – freshly cooked by the hosts using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. The quality of the food and the personal service are way above what you would normally expect. There’s also a licensed bar, beautiful gardens and a lovely terrace with fantastic views. What really makes Pencubitt House special, though, is the personal touch. You feel genuinely looked after rather than simply being another hotel guest. A fantastic five-day stay and somewhere we would happily return to. Easily highly recommended. 10/10! Thank you Back soon :)

Exeellent as ever, welcoming and always assure you of a great stay

This is our second visit to Pencubitt House and we will definitely be returning. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and have quality furnishings. Julie and Patrick are friendly and welcoming hosts. The food is excellent, Patrick is an amazing chef. Definitely recommend, 10 out of 10 throughout.
