Handy for National Trust (and similar) properties including Lanhydrock, Cotehele and Pencarrow. Close to the coast at Looe (which is also accessible by the attractive train ride from Liskeard station). The newly completed A30 makes a day trip to west Cornwall an easy prospect.

A great location for us as within easy walking to the railway station. Longer walk into town. Lovely grounds and view from our room (3)

We visited partly to see a friend in Liskeard and had an unusual tour of inside of the church organ!

The nicest ever place to stay. We’ve been staying at Pencubitt a couple of times a year for many years while visiting family. It’s like going home. Fabulous food perfectly cooked, lovely bedrooms and very comfortable and welcoming reception rooms.

Pivotal point for visiting beaches, doing coastal or moorland walks and visiting NT properties.
