Another wonderful stay at Pencubitt House. Home from home, our favourite place to holiday. Patrick and Julie go out of their way to look after you and make your visit special. The choice and quality of food is exceptional, including breakfast choices and beautifully laid table. Can’t wait for our next visit.

Tips for other travellers

Liskeard is central for visiting the hotspots of Cornwall. Looe, Polpero, Padstow to mention a few. Plenty of restaurants to visit in addition to Pencubitt’s fine dining, Eden Project definitely worth a visit. So much to do to fill your days.

Fantastic place to stay with beautiful views across the Cornish countryside. Julie and Patrick were so welcoming and were always on hand to support with any requests. The breakfast was fabulous and I have already booked my next stay.

Pat and Julie are exceptional hosts! Nothing is too much trouble and they make your stay feel personal, depending on individual needs. The food is absolutely amazing, we have never managed 3 courses but always aim to by the end of our stay! We have stayed many times and always aim to rebook so we have our ‘Pencubitt holiday’ to look forward to during the everyday stresses of a busy daily life! Thank you both!!!

Tips for other travellers

We love Room 9, but all the rooms are unique and individual. Liskeard is central for so many wonderful places in Cornwall and if you prefer to use the train, it is a 5 minute walk. We use the train for many of the trips which are listed in the folder in each room. Varying from wonderful castles and viaducts to busy vibrant towns like St Ives. You will have a wonderful holiday here and will come back again and again!!!
