Thank you Pat and Julie for a marvellous few days in your beautiful home. It was a joy to meet you and hopefully remain good friends. Everything at Pencubitt is absolutely first class and I cannot fault a single thing. Superb hosting, made so welcome and superb interaction with guests to ensure a restful and totally enjoyable stay. Nothing too much trouble. And being a foodie, was bowled over with Pat's incredibly delicious meals. Cant wait for my next visit - would have stayed forever if I could!

Tips for other travellers
Cornwall is the most beautiful county with so many wonderful gardens, houses and seaside beaches to explore. Cannot comment on local restaurants as ate with friends, but a Michelin star should be given to Pencubitt House!

Gardeners must visit the Duchy Nursery which is very good but expect it to be busy

Within easy reach of good NT locations ie Cotele and Lanhydrock. Attractive coastal areas, eg Looe, Foye etc

An absolute gem. There is nothing that Patrick and Julie hadnt thought of. Pencubitt house is full of history and so interesting to look around. You are really made to feel welcome and in fact we didnt want to leave,Our room was spotless and had everything we needed... hairdryer, towels, tea coffee, shampoos etc. The breakfast menu was the best that we have ever had and the full English and the omelettes were absolutely delicious. The welcome book tells of the buildings history and of all the places to visit. A must read.We will definitely be back.
