Pat and Julie are exceptional hosts, making individuals feel welcomed and relaxed in their beautiful home. It is rare to have the ability to make people feel like they have arrived as guests and left as friends. The food is wonderful and we have worked our way through almost the entire menu! Three courses is a must but not for the faint hearted! Bread and butter pudding takes your taste buds to another dimension! We return time and time again as it is our ‘haven’💜

Tips for other travellers

All the rooms are lovely but we particularly like Room 9, but rooms 3, 4 and 5 are equally nice and on a lower floor if stairs are problematic Pencubitt is local for so many beautiful places, most of which are described in each rooms folder. We often walk to the train station and you can go to Looe, Truro, St Ives, Dartmouth or anywhere within the region. It is a wonderful service and we love exploring and returning for dinner at Pencubitt 😊!!

We were made to feel very welcome. Breakfasts and evening meals were delicious. Our room was really comfortable, with everything we needed. Public areas beautifully and thoughtfully furnished. Pencubitt House is a special place.

Only a 5 minute walk to Liskeard train station so a car free holiday would be possible.

you have a wonderful B&B cannot fault it in any way the food is wonderful the building is full of character its just a great place to stay in a great location to exlore cornwall

This is our absolute favorable place to stay. This was our second time at Pencubitt House and we are hoping to come again. Patrick and Julie are perfect hosts and the atmosphere in the house is amazing. The food, both for breakfast and evening meals is 5 star.
