The Fossil Tree is fantastic wee hotel. The room was clean and well maintained with ensuite shower room and big screen TV. The included breakfast was delicious with vegan and gluten free options. The hotel has free on-site parking and is located very close to a tram stop for easy access to the main drag. Our host Chris was very attentive and nothing was too much trouble for him. 5* service.

Tips for other travellers

Two stand out restaurants for us were the Three Piers Cookhouse and Beachcomber steakhouse. There's also a massive Primark behind the tower if you forget to pack underwear and socks like we did🤣

Wow wow wow we have just stayed at The Fossil Tree & what a lovely relaxed atmosphere Chris & Christine go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. When we entered we were greeted by Chris he is so friendly, a lovely clean smell in the hallway we stayed in room 1 it was amazing & spotless. Chris even carried our bag to the room we had free WiFi the trams were over the road or a 30 to 40 minutes walk he gave us the tram times to help nothing was too much trouble. The next morning the breakfast was absolutely delicious the best we have ever had in Blackpool everything is to detail we have booked for next year and can’t wait Liz & Steve 🥰

Tips for other travellers

We went to Fleetwood & got the tram to Blackpool we bought the two day pass £45 not sure child prices it gets you into Madam Tussaud's, Sealife, The Tower,The Dungeons, Circus, Peter Rabbit & a couple of other places well worth the money & The hot ice show is brilliant & worth a look 🥰

Lovely comfortable, quiet, cosy and spotless clean rooms and lounge. Brilliant breakfast; lots of choice,and cooked to perfection. Chris is a genuinely friendly, attentive and helpful host. We are looking forward to our next stay.

Tips for other travellers

The tram stop is right across from the hotel. A quick ride to the central area (Blackpool Tower) We highly recommend The Showboat music venue. It's just a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
